![]() A Trial flight is an excellent way to take to the skies for the first time in a
Microlight. You can become familiar with the sensations of flight, and
experience the ways in which the craft handles, on the ground and in the air.
Plus, you're guaranteed to have a great time! And if you decide you're hooked and want to learn to fly microlights yourself, your time on any trial flight counts towards the flight hours you must complete to gain your NPPL (Microlight) rating. Some people of course just prefer to enjoy the experience and let the instructor do all the flying, and this is fine if it's what you'd prefer, but either way you WILL experience a brief period of pure magic that will long remain a treasured memory. And who knows, it may even fire your enthusiasm.......................... There are NO age restrictions for trial flights and we're happy to take youngsters from about 9-10 years of age. There is no upper age limit. People with physical disabilities can also fly, depending on the nature of the disability and providing they are able (with the help of a relative or carer where necessary) to be seated comfortably and securely in the aircraft. Check with us if you're not sure. |
